COBB HOUSE STUDIO

Picture
Cobb House Studio was a kids educational production company started by Dr. Cobb in 2007.  The aim of CHS was to provide engaging, learner-centred, interest-driven, collaborative programs for learners aged five through fifteen.  Working with new media technologies and applying traditional forms of fine arts education, CHS produced more than 20 films and 100 songs (many original).  Often scheduled during school holidays, CHS programs provided Dr. Cobb with a venue to develop curricula that were not being offered in other arts institutions.  These programs served as the departure point for a deep love for new literacies that ultimately led to his PhD studies in Arts Education at Simon Fraser University under the supervision of Dr. Susan O'Neill.

A selection of the films, songs, and music videos produced over the years at CHS are showcased in the pull-down menu.
